I started my car up. I was trying to put it in reverse so I could back out of the driveway - I couldn't get it to go into reverse. I tried a couple times. I finally ran through all the gears - 1st, 2nd, and so forth. I was finally able to get it into reverse. It seems to be fine now.

What do you think happened?

 

It could have been a couple different things... none of which you want to get involved in. If it's not a major drive, take it by the dealer and have them check it out. If they can't find anything, at least you'll have it on record that it was checked in case it decides to happen again.

 

Syncros were off. Could have just put into neutral and then depressed the clutch, thereby resetting syncros...just in case it ever happens again.
