I don't think E-85 will work. Nothing but premium going into my MCS

DO NOT RUN E-85 IN A MINI!!!!! Unless you like to talk to the crew at roadside assistance, the E-85 fuel is horrible for a MINI.

I wouldn't run E-85 in my Mini-bike... Don't believe the hype.

Ethanol is not good for cars that aren't meant to use it. It's doesn't have the lubricating properties of gasoline so certain parts of the fuel system suffer. Also, ethanol doesn't have as much Btu per unit mass as gasoline so more ethanol must be injected to get the same amount of power (not to mention the stoichiometric A/F is different). Currently, stations blend up to 10% ethanol into the regular gas pumps as the law prohibits any more. Some cars have trouble with just 10%.

That said, ethanol does have a very high octane number. For most cars, this doesn't matter but I believe the Bugatti Veyron makes 50-100 extra hp when running on ethanol as the ECU increases boost.
