I totally love my Mini.
When I was making the decision to buy one, my only concern was that it was the first year. Since it is made by BMW, I got over that. Then I found this website and at first I was nervous reading about the problems. I had traded in a 1993 Integra that for 9 years had very few repairs relating to normal wear and tear and it never broke down.
Now I just feel better with all I have learned here. If something (knock on wood) were to happen to my Mini, I think it will not bother me as much since I will be able to confirm/share that it is a 'common' or 'fixable' problem.

This is so true.....this site is such a great source of information that I know if I hear a funny rattle in my car or anything else that I will probably be able to get an answer here!
