Help. Clicking Noise!

Okay, so.. I have a problem. I get this clicking sound coming from the engine when I drive and/or rev the engine. At this same time I found out that it was low 3 qts of oil. I filled it back up with oil, and it helped the sound a little, but I still hear it frequently.

My guess is something is screwed up with the valve springs.. anyone else have this problem?!

If someone really thinks they know what the problem is.. give me a call.. 614-565-6408. Otherwise, post your response. lol. Thanks.

the lifters are hydraulically(sp?) set with oil pressure. so top the oil and take it for a spin and see if it helps. you may need to get them warm and tehn let them cool off and try again.
good luck!

The only other thing that I know causes the "ticking" sound that is RPM related is the harmonic balancer ( damper ) that sometimes seperate. My 04 S had this happen and it took the MINI dealer several days to figure it out.
We went through alot of BS to find out what it was - double check it - it could be a easy fix.

Good luck
