Any one know what a MINI ONE/JOHN COOPER S CONVERTIBLE PETROL FLAP ACTUATOR is? I don't think my Cabrio has one of those.

That has got to be a Euro option. I know I don't have it in my car. Should I retrofit? Nah...

Thanks g

It's in my car, and it's not Euro. It locks the gas cap cover when the car doors are locked.

Oh, I see what you are saying. The little loop made it seem like it's something you pull manually. Never mind. I must have one of those too.

On the hardtops you can pull it manually as a back up, in case of malfunction or loss of power. Just pull off the panel on the inside left side of the boot and reach in there. The convertible lacks this panel.

Try this link. It sounds like the motorized lock for the gas cap.

It IS the gas cap cover release. It ALSO has a manual release back up built into it.
