Getting ready to install a boost gauge, and do the VGS mod, and am wondering if I should look to do anything to the BPV while I have easy access., like cleaning and such.
Yes, I know the Detroit Tuned BPV is available, just not in the budget right now.

 

I would make sure it is opening and closing straight and clear and not binding on the closing stroke. Others may add to stretch the spring a little bit, but if are going to do something like that, I would shim the spring a little instead, just to give you a tad more boost.
