Man, I can't believe my transmission has to be replaced with only 73k. the noise started at around 60K and my mechanic said it was just the gears hitting each other. Just chatter. Turn up the radio. Took it in for an oil change yesterday and had them change out the tranmission fluid and they showed me all these metal pieces in the fluid. Anyone have any suggestions? I live in austin and we have no mini dealers close. I have had nothing but troubles with this car but can't afford to get a new one. don't know if I will actually.

 

That sucks...I have 63K of hard miles on mine. Usually, I have all sorts of info to add but I'm at a loss for words at the moment.
