Slight rattle at idle

All,

I have a brand new '06 MCS that has a slight lifter/rocker arm type of rattle when it idles. (Sorry, I'm coming a American V8 world, so please bear with my descriptions.)

It goes away as the revs go up, but it just doesn't sound right. Do these cars/motors have a tendency to make a bit of noise at idle? It has always done it since new (two weeks old now), and so I'm taking it back to the dealer to check it out.

Anyway, I just wanted some other opinions in case the service guy simply tells me, "Yeah, they all do that." Of course, I'll ask that they fire up another MCS and let me hear it for comparison.

I'm thinking perhaps a slight clearance/lash adjustment issue on one of the rocker arms. I'm assuming that there are rockers arms for the four valves per cylinder given the single overhead cam configuration of this motor...

Thanks in advance!

(old school sig follows...)
