Heated Seats

My passenger seats heater is coming on all the time and not to sure if it is an easy fix.

Has anyone else heard of this problem?

Might want to put this in the "Under The Bonnet" forum.

Stop hitting the button?

Seriously though,

Can you provide a little more information about this? Certain times it comes on? Comes on when you hit a big bump? When you flip a switch?

Or is there no discernable pattern?

As soon as I turn on the car the seat heater comes on even though the buttons are not pushed.

Sounds like it's time for a visit to the dealership. Maybe the button that governs it is stuck?

Depends on the kind of mood they're in. If they really want oyur business they may be willing to go the extra 400 miles and 4 days.

First step - find another Maverick with heated seats and swap the switches to see if it does the same thing. If it doesn't - problem solved, you just need a new switch panel. If it does, could be BC1

While I appreciate the humor, I gather that no one else has had or heard of this problem. After talking to the dealership today, they are very strict about the milage on the warrenty.

But what else did I expect?
