lifting

I need to know where to safely positionned - front and rear - the jack and then the 4 jack stands (safe for the car not for me ) under the Mini?
If there is already a post on this matter, I apologise, but I have not seen one yet .
If there is a post with details and pictures I would be grateful to get directions to find it.

i usually just jack it on the side of the car where there's that black plastic
piece with metal above it (vertical rail) and put the jack stands at the
factory jack points.

Don't use the jack point shown in the Randy Webb How To! I've sen him lift many cars at pulley parties, and he doesn't use that lift point. I used it once and the area collapsed! The best place to lift the MINI and still have access to the jack points for jack stands is to put a piece of wood about 3ft long between the jack points on the welded seam (covered in plastic) that the jack points are actually part of. I've used this method, learned from Randy Webb, for dozens of lifts and it works.

cheers,
