Xenon went purple?

So I get into the car this morning and turn on the lights and the passenger side xenon turns purple. Any Idea on what this might be? I've never had xenons before so I'm not sure what to expect when one goes out.

I had problems las winter with the passenger side not coming on all the time but I would just turn it off and back on again and it would fire right up. As of this summer it has been trouble free.

Now it is 62 degrees when I leave and it turns purple?

please help.

the owners manual of my 350z states the xenons will turn red or purple just before the bulbs go out.

Holy Cr@p!!!

I know I gotta pay to play, but the bulb is $234 from the dealer!!!

Anyone know where to get a Xenon buld for less? And what should I look for?

I have not called Classic yet. I wish the bulb would have went out when they were having their 25% off sale.

'03? Aren't you still in warranty? If so, the dealer should replace it no question s asked.

Look in your manual for the bulb type. Probably D2S

Then Google the bulb type. You will get many hits.

Hey --
I believe that the bulb is expensive, but check on getting the entire housing, sometimes MINI believes they would rather replace the entire housing than just the bulb, and that is why they make the bulb so expensive!

im pretty sure there will be alitte, i had to replace 1 of my headlights once be4 because i got into an accident. the replacement one looks awfully yellow (actually whiter in a distance) comapre to the the older bluer bulb.

get some philips replacement bulbs... good quality! personally i'm using the 8000K ones from bimmian, hella blue, quite unique at night!
