hey everyone,

Anybody know of any good shops for general repair / maintenance and perhaps a little bit of race prep in or around the York area? Maybe an independent bmw shop?

Any advice is appreciated....

If you're willing to drive south a bit, for about 3 hours, there's Helix...

These guys are among the best when it comes to MINI.

 

well, naturally I believe they'd be great and all.....but for a state inspection I think that would be a little far.

Plus I need the proper PA stickers.

 

Helix is actually 2-3 hours east of York
(Philadelphia).

I've gone to Square Deal Garage on Queen St. just south
of the 83 exit for inspections and simple non-waranty stuff
on my MINI, and my wife's VW Cabrio, her old VW Rabbit Conv.,
and My old Rabbit for many years.
They've had a number of new MINIs in their shop. Don't know if
they do any race prep though. They're honest and I've never
had a problem with them.
