Have a code reader?

Could try plugging in the ECU and isconnect the batt for 20+mins then reconnect the battery and see if the codes go away.

I'll go to the auto parts store and have the code read. The main thing that worries me is the EP on the clock.

Any ideas?

I've unhooked the battery. Hopefully that'll fix it. If it doesnt, I'll have the auto parts store read it for me, then clear it.

EP is emergency program - presuming you drive an automatic; it's a "limp mode" for the auto transmission! :(

I've seen that EP many times. As Ian said its related to your auto tranny. Something aggrevated it. Has the car received the recall wiring harness for the tranny? Mine did that about once a week till they fixed the wiring.

I dont know if it is part of the recall, but this is the first time it has ever happened.

Maybe it just had to do some re-learning after the disconnection ...

Probably. Something else that I noticed is that the drivers window goes down an inch evertime I re hook up the battery. Also, it subtracted 1 mile from the ODO! lol

Now all you have to do is disconnect the battery 35,000 times and you will have a "new" car!
