Engine stalling when driving slow/stopping.

I have a MCS '06 that is an automatic. My car has about 2000 miles on it and has stalled on me twice. Once turning in a cul de sac and another time sitting at a red light - I pushed the gas to go and the car had stalled with all of lights on, Check Engine, etc. Both times I had been driving the car for at least 30 minutes prior. And I just had to shut it off and re-start it and was able to go from there. I took the car into the dealer (they had it for 10 days and put 130 miles on it) and they said they don't know what's wrong and can't fix it, however I do not want this to be a persisting problem! Or even worse to happen while I'm driving on the freeway or down the mountain
I've researched some other threads and found some people having this problem when starting the car, and some people saying it is the gas. However I always use the highest grade of gas from quality gas stations.
Has anyone had the problem I'm having? Was a dealer able to figure out the problem or fix it? Any information, help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

did the dealer tell you what codes were stored in the ECU? that would be a good starting point.

They said it did not trigger any codes and they can't do anything about it. They put on 130 miles trying to get it to do it again, but they couldn't get it to do it. I've put 2000 miles on the car and it has happened twice probably within the last 200 miles I drove. It is not a consistent problem, so it is difficult to diagnose, especially since no codes are triggered. And they told me they can't replace any parts with a failure of some sort and everything has to be pre-authorized from over-seas or whatever.
I'm just very disappointed to be having such a potentionally major problem with the car being so new.
