Sparkplug Tubes
Do they loctite them in? Or are they just really tight?

I think he's speaking of the metal tube that presses into the head. Key #2
MINI calls it a "spark plug pipe".

The metal tube the plug goes down. They are in the way of my valve spring compressor.

The sleeve requires an expansion tool to extract which attaches to a slide hammer and yes it has a sealing compound to make life harder.

Maby I shoule try a different valve spring compressor. I'm using a large C clamp style one. Has anyone had luck with the smaller overhead ones?
