That may be possible, but right now it is really slow and there are a lot of changes being made. You never know though, I wouldn't have guessed I'd being doing this a year ago.

Heck, I'm ready to find a mini dealership. For the most part they don't/can't get this far into the car anyway. I'd feel like a master at mini.

Infact, my third car garage is about to become my mini MINI sevice station.

mk, so I swapped the sensor and the code went away! yippe...but it threw me some other codes...

P0271 - Fuel Injector, Cyl 4 - Input High
P0234 - Charge-air pressure, Compressor
P0203 - Fuel Injector, Cyl 3 - Malfunction

I think, haven't looked yet cuz its like 5 million degrees under my hood, but think it could just be a bad connection to the injectors...just like needs to be pushed back on...u kno.

and the P0234? over boost at idle or something? where does that get picked up from? t-map?

Let me know what you think..

oh and dave says hey jermey

Ok, so maybe there was something to the map sensor thing. I would check those injector connections, clear the codes and see what happens.

meet up at jasons on sunday?

ill give him a call tomorrow to see if he is doing anything that day.

or your place? I have like one craftsmen box with like a basic set of like 200 pieces or somethin, and no scanner. I'm too cheap for tools right now, and living with my parents doesn't help (mom hates me doing anything with my car in 'her' garage)

Got some stuff to help if you want to pick it up....

I can lend you the scanner, and I have a spare BPV if you want to screw around. I also have a couple of IC boots....

Man, you've got all the luck!

Matt

Jason's will be ok with me. I can bring my scanner, but most off my tools are at the shop. Let me know what the plan is and I'll be there.

I found out I sold my car =P he is picking it up on thursday, put down a deposit and everything...anyway..

It was the lower o-ring on my 3 cyl injector that was messed up...the new(correct) map sensor took care of the problems at the beginning of this thread. And a new o-ring took care of the injector. And a guy who bought my car took care of all my problems lol...I will bring that stuff back to you sometime this weekend matt.

Cool!

That you fixed it, sad that you're moving on, but the next car sounds like fun too!
