HOT in the wrong Places

EDIT: I'd like to add, that when I got home and notied the heat, it even looked like the inner rear disc was glowing! I could be wrong, but I am gonna check now that its cool.

I got home today after a drive to the mall, and a few errands. When I was walking to my garage door, my leg felt serious heat comming off of the rear wheel. Both back rear wheels and tires were REALLY hot. The boot was also very warm. I had a rugdoctor in the back, but it was not running. I cant think of what caused it. Any ideas?

Thanks,
William.

P.S. The only strange thing that I have done is a little wiring for some fog lights, and the airbag light came on earlier today.

It may be a stuck cable then. You might want to jack up one side and see if the wheel can spin freely.

Hard cornering perhaps? =) ... Nothing like getting the rears to slide and smell of burnt rubber! Brings back memories of my test drive with the previous owner. The mini needs an "Oh Sh*t" bar.

Yeah uhh I get the same thing EVERY time I go for a drive, there is a reason I can wear down the back at the same rate as the front, also your alphabet brakes will cause the rear to work a little more. and I can get them hot in a hurry too (only a 5 min. ride til I stopped at the gas station once).

Get the airbag fixed ASAP though.
