fog light seperating from bumper

Hi all:

I just noticed today that my driver side fog light lens is seperated from the bumper opening. On the passerger side the fog light lens is flush with the opening of the bumper, while the driver side has a gap of about 1/8 inch all around. Nothing hit the light or bumper prior to my finding. I am kind of shock this is happening after just 1000 miles. Has anyone had this happened? The problem is not so bad that I need to have it looked at immediately, so long as the light is not beaming off course. Should I stay away from trying to fix this myself? Thanks

Thanks for the reply. I do understand your point, but what I was describing is the driver and passenger sides are now different, they were both almost flushed with the opening before. Now, the driver side seems like it's been pushed in, not by a lot (about 1/8"). I can see through to the wheel opening between the space of the lens and the bumper opening at an angle. Trust me, I am not being a perfectionist. I just want to know whether my bumper or the fog light has shifted if someone has seen this. Thanks.

BTW, XAlfa, I live in Bay Area too, which local club are you in other than Craptastic?

I would guess it's the bumper cover that has moved a bit. I would join any club that would have people like me as a members.
