what do these lights mean?

it used to happen once in a while but very rarely on my '03 MCS. now since i installed my Invidia exhaust 3 weeks ago it's happened twice. upon startup it has gotten that stumble that is so well talked about here and elsewhere, but now i also get the DSC and tire pressure light on simultaneously. now this is only on initial startup and then will go away after driving for a bit or sometimes even as soon as i pull away. the lights do not go off even pushing the reset buttons, they stay on and there's nothing written in the manual about this combo of lights. before i go to the dealer (Westchester, NY) does anyone have any ideas? could this be from my exhaust? any info is appreciated.

Any SES light? Try intiallizing the tire system to see if it will fix that, the exhaust should be unrelated, but this is the first I've heard of that comobunation.

I think its going to have to go to the dealer there is a sensor in the wheels that detects when the wheels slip it controls the DSC, I thought it was seperate from the flat tire sensor but they both function in the same way.

The tire sensor in MINIs are not like the tire sensors on say a vette.

MINI uses the wheel speed or ABS sensor and notes for differences in wheel speed. Tires with less inflation are shorter and therefore spin at a different rate than those with more inflation. Done this way, you can replace wheels with any manufacture and still have tire monitoring. This is why my MA said to reset the system every month (suggested resetting when you mail the car payment). So as to compensate for tire wear.

Tire monitoring on the vette is done by pressure sensors in the wheels themselves. Very costly if you destroy a wheel.

This happens to my MCS after having had the battery disconnected for awhile. Once the car gets rolling the lights would come on.
What worked for mine was turning the car off and re-starting, the lights come on then go off. Try disconnecting the battery for 20 minutes or so and see what happens after you start it up again. hopefully that works for you.
