Variations in Serpentine belt size?

O. K. folks! (For stock and/or 15% pulley applications) Factory parts CD lists Conti belt 6PK1388(that's 1388 mm) Have found ref. to Goodyear Gatorback 6PK1365 (that's 1365 mm) and Dayco 6PK1365. Also NAPA 25-060535 and 25-060539 (that's 53.5" and 53.9"). Why the big discrepencies? Which is/are correct? Any others?

Just did this today,

Factory size,

Gates K060547 @ 54.71 length. Dayco 5060548 @ 54.75
Goodyear 6PK1390 @ 54.70

Shorter size, -.70

Goodyear 6PK1370 @ 54.00

Shorter size, -1.0

Gates K060537 @ 53.70,
Goodyear 6PK1365 @ 53.70

Shorter size, -1.5

Car Quest K060532 @ 53.20

I have always ran the Car quest belt, with 15% Webb Pulley. never failed lots of track days and a few over revs

Stock is too big for a 15%...
It will install OK...but a tiny bit of wear...and screech....and slip

With a 15% go with a 535......
17% maybe even try a 532......
many folks are happy...less chance of slipping the smaller the belt....

Like Zippy said the 535 is perfect for a 15% pulley.

I used the 532 for 17% and so far so good. It was tight getting it on, but no slipping and the top of the second tensioner hole showing after break-in.
