Side marker sticking out from fender

My left front side marker (the top portion) somehow popped out of the fender flare recess. It is sticking out about 1/4". I have tried to push it back in by hand but it will not seat. I looked in my Bentley manual and it does not show how to remove or install the side markers. Anyone with info on how to fix this small problem please let me know. Thanks!

there are small 10mm metal "nuts" they like cut into the plastic piece as you tighten them down.

this explains it

How do I access the nuts? From the inside of the wheel well under the plastic cover?

I think the easiest way would be to pull your bumper off. You could do it with the wheel liner out if you removed your rim, but taking the bumper off is not very difficult at all.

If I recall correctly there are only seven screws that hold your bumper on. Underneath are 3 phillips head screws, When you look under you bumper, it's not the set of screws closest to the front, but the second row of screws.

open the bonnet and there are 2 torx screws that screw into the frame and there are 2 plastic hex head screws one on each side of the bumper towards the outer edge. They are holding a tension type clip. Those are accessible from inside the wheel well.

MSFIT is correct in saying that it is easy, and you don't need to remove the wheel. Just make sure you have a ratchet extension to access the screw in the wheel well.

Sorry I don't remember the torx or the hex sizes.

I don't think I missed anything. I hope.

Thanks for your help guys. Sounds like a good rainy day project in the garage. Bentley's does have the instructions for the bumper removal.

except its a little bit different, aero kit front bumper

under the front you will see what four things that look kinda like bolts or something but they are plugs, just get a flat head screw driver behind them and pop them out

Then one phillips head in each wheel well liner

then torx where the hood meets the bumper (bottom arrow)

then 10mm bolt (top arrow)

As far as I know there are no screws or nuts holding these things on, so you don't need to tear the car apart to get to it. It's just a clip on one end and a compression fitting (plastic tab pushed in and held by a rubber grommet) on the other.
Get something to pry out the end where the S is. It will just pop out. Once that end is just freed, then pull it out sideways, toward the back of the car. That will unclip the end where the light is. Then unplug the wire if you need to.

I'm pretty sure he's talking about the light in the front bumper, in the actual arch.
