you dont have to take the engine out........just undone the mounts and jack it up enough to get to the pully. I would say either to a pully or a CAI

well, i have never taken an engine out of a car before, and in my opinion it would be idiotic to start with a mini.. especially MY mini. dont really have the tools to do it anyway. how much does a pully "pull" in? 1o -15 hp?? i have no clue.

Ya... 10 to 15 whp. Do a CAI at the same time and you will have a good 20 or so WHP and a nice super charger whine

Do the pulley when you have enough money for a DME remap. The remap makes a huge difference to the pulley. The pulley by itself will add some power, but the remap is the main factor. Some easy boltons will give you a good amount of power. Exhaust, intake, pulley, remap.

After that you enter into the semi-serious zone of doing headers, heads, porting manifolds.

And after that you enter into the serious mod zone of engine rebuilds That's where the big power is at.
