newbie motor oil API question

The manual for the mini says use 5W-30 API SH or higher. I'm not sure if AA is higher or ZZ is higher. I bought castrol full synthetic oil for $5 a quart and it says the rating is API SM/CF. So does this work with the mini? I read many motor oil threads already and decided to stick with castrol.

Thanks in advance

Any good synthetic will work. If Castrol, make sure it's fully synthetic and not synthetic blend. They have a tendancy to advertise everything as synthetic. Many of us use Mobil 1 and haven't had any problems with it. The racers tend to go up market to Redline which is the most pure synthetic out there to my knowledge but you pay $$$ for it.
