guys, i am planning an exhaust this week, please advise me which way would be the best choice? Buying a set, or getting an experienced exhaust shop make me one? I need to consider from a price point, need it pretty loud, and i do not want any warning lights on my dash. Thanks for the help

if you like mine (video is in previous posts and gallery) just remove the stock one... add 2 resanators and then bend it out and around the battery box... no muffler..... but its is loud and does drone on Highway... but I am use to it and doesnt bother me. thats goign to be your cheapest option..

Just to give you an idea on how loud my exhaust is the garage in a walk out... I can go upstairs on the other side of the house with my car running and hear it at idle...

Well, mine is about complete. i had to do it on jackstands, so no underside pics yet.
I have a few of the side exit here, but i have to do some finish welding and a bit of painting when our lift is up and running again.
Oh yeah, since i used 2 1/4, i used as much of the factory system as i could, it turned out I only needed to fabricate one bend to use for the system, and i had to make one mount. here are a few quick pics.
BTW, the reason the rear apron looks like crap is because i didnt have a chance to but the parts off of a Cooper that I needed, so i had to chop up a S rear apron.

Well i put my stock header back on and it sounds ALOT better. I think i might stay this way.
There sending me another header cuz i felt this one was either leaking or something else was makin it sound like a 70's Beetle.
I'll most likely be selling the new one when it comes in and the new Magnaflow cat. Not sure yet.
