Hi, first post. New car for me - bought my friend's uncle's '02 Cooper S with JCW package. Fun car!

I've come from the world of Saabs, I have several old 900 Turbos and a 99 rallycar. I'm used to doing my own wrenching, as I built both my baby, the '88 SPG street machine, and my rallycar. Bought the Bentley MINI manual. No plans for mods to the Cooper S, just gonna be a driver.

Two questions. First, does anyone have the full instructions for the mounting of the JCW badges? My friend's uncle never put the badges on, and somehow the first page of the instructions were lost. I just want the badges to be spot on, so while I have the instructions for the front badge, I don't have the particulars for the rear. I can figure it out easily enough, just that double sided tape stuff, but I don't have any particulars for the positioning. If anyone has a scan or something, I'd appreciate it.

When I got the car about 3 weeks ago, it had just undergone a major service. But they didn't have the drive belt in stock, so we just drove it home (car was in Vancouver, I'm in Edmonton). Anyway, just ordered the drive belt the other day, and then the manual arrived. I see they have a special tool, but then I found my way to the Webb Motorsports site. Any other hints and tips? I'm hoping to get by without any special tools, and I do have a decently well stocked tool box for a shade-tree mechanic.
