the MTH might be doing something... not sure. can you revert back to your
factory program?

*****- is this the first winter with the MTH map?

honestly, this is one reason why I haven't taken the plunge yet on the MTH... when you
push your ECU maps to the limit, it usually turns into issues when you can't adjust
to winterized gas and also the super cold temps. you never know wat to expect.

wish TurboXS made Utecs for our cars... (had one on my WRX...it is by far the
best piggyback ive used...user programmable, has auto logging, etc...well, that's
a turbo car so totally different...but still, that autologging was a very useful tool
to diagnose).

yes, this is the first real cold weather the car has seen, it's a 2003 with 37,000 miles.

Funny that this cane up. Yesterday when I pulled out of the driveway my mini ran a little rough. As I tried to accellerate down the road it became so rough that I literally could only inch forward. The CEL came on and it stalled. When I restarted, it ran perfectly. The CEL went out after the usual 3 cycles. Weird.

Theres a bulletin out for the by-pass valve sticking due to the cold weather. This will put the car in limp mode if the valve cant open. Dealer will replace valve and reprogram DME under warranty if you have any left.
