Who manufactures the MCSa transmission?

Does anybody know who is the manufacturer of the MCSa automatic transmission? Jeffy (on another thread) has started posting some good info regarding the CVT based upon the manufacturer's tech manual. It would be nice to get some of the same info for the MCSa tranny...

The MCSa's transmission is manufactured by Aisin-Warner.

Correct. Same unit used in the Audi TT FWD and I believe the VW Beattle as well.
