rattling coming from the ac/toggle switch area

its not coming from the dash, but the rattle is around the auto AC and toggle switch area. does anyone have or know about this rattle? i padded the radio, AC, toggle switch base where they are mounted too but it didn't stop the rattle. everything else behind them are just wires so i have no clue. any help or advise about this particular rattle will be greatly appreciated, thanks.

I've had two or three different ones in that area, so good luck. The one that made the most noise and toughest to find was the down tube on the right side. Where it meets the dashboard near the glovebox. I was able to slide a piece of electrical tape between the downtube (at the top) and the dash panel, and it took care of the problem. When you hear the sound, push inward on the down tube or push the dash panel (next to the glovebox) in that spot to see if it stops. Just a suggestion. I use to think it was coming from between the radio and climate control.

I had one coming from the dash, thought it was from the toggle area.
I just got it back from the shop this afternoon. They said the put padding in around the air vents. I didn't hear it on the drive back to work, and I will be keeping an ear out. I'll let you know.
This may be common if the dealer knew how to fix it.

well ok, quickly guessed it might be the little radio nub at the back of it wiggling in the slot so i padded it there and i heard nothing for a few days... well until today it just came back but much softer. i don't mind it, but since i started looking for it and so i want to find the darn cause.
