Which is the best place to get an oil filter?

I need to get an oil filter for my S.

I have tried Outmotoring and a couple of other places, but they all want more in shipping than the cost of the filter.

Anyone have a great place to buy them at with low shipping prices?

Your MINI dealer actually has decent prices on OEM filters. If you are close to a dealer, just pick one up there.

Another option is your local parts store. Such as AutoZone. They have an STP filter (with the plastic cage in the center) for about $7 plus tax. Although that is about the same as buying 5 and having them shipped via this link: http://www.myminiparts.com/proddetai...od=MOG-CarCare You just get it right away (if in stock)

Remember that you can also get the NAM discount at Classic Mini in Ohio, just have them ship 5-10 of them at a time.

Also, if you find a local MIni group, maybe everyone can split a really big order!

I've found that most dealers (any brand of car) will give you a wholesale price if you buy in lots of 10 or more. Also if your a member of your local MINI club or work for somebody big enough, you could get discounts.

I remember buying Toyota oil filters once and having my jaw hit the floor when I picked up a case of 10 oil filters for the price of 3 if I had bought them one at a time.
