I am being told that air conditioning compressors are on national back order. Anybody else experiencing that?

Last Thursday (10/13), I hit a racoon and he took out my radiator, radiator support, fan, spoiler, lower grill and the AC condener. I just got it back today. $1635. Damned racoon. The condenser was $383.25 plus $30 for the Freon.

The shop got the condenser from either Morristown Mini or Prestige Mini, both located in NJ. No wait !!!

Thanks! I am waiting for a compressor though...darned thing just quit working. It wont engage at all...

Hopefully, you didn't get charged for the damage? It should be covered under Comprehensive coverage.

 

$500 deductable...guess the stereo mod waits a bit longer...that's ok...I'm still totally undecided.
