since this is a oil post, i think i will ask here.
it cost like 70 dollars here to do a oil change with mini.

how much it cost if u do it by yourself?

and is it possible for me to get a oil change outside of mini?

also, when u do an oil change, u have to change a new filter as well, right?

1 more question, after oil change, will the service meter reset?

Sure, you can do it yourself. You can probably take it to an oil change place and have them do it as well. Changing the oil is not rocket science. Just be sure to follow the torque specification on the filter housing and drain bolt.

If it were mine, I certainly wouldn't contaminate the new oil with old oil from the filter.

No. You have to reset it yourself if you want it to reset.
