Oil filter specific socket.

Don't know if this has been posted, but it is a nice tool for those looking for this sort of thing.

Thanks for the info, but $38 is a lot of dough for a 36mm socket. I bought one at Sears for $6, then cut it down.

Actually..............I found a much better price.

And these are specifically made for oil filters (like the Mini’s) as well as allowing you to use a 3/8" drive ratchet, which most folks have.

cheaper 36mm

I'm able to use a standard Craftsman 36mm socket and 1/2" rachet without much problem. Space is limited but you only really need to break it loose and use your hands for the rest.
