Pulley Risk?

My 05' MCS currently runs with an Alta Intake, Borla sports exhaust and an Alta short shifter. I'm planning on getting my pulley installed soon and I'm wondering if there are any problems with getting a %15 reduction super charger pulley installed without the ECU upgrade with my current setup.

I would get colder plugs (i.e. Denso IK22) just to play it safe.

hrmm interesting, I just did some reading about spark plugs (not knowing what exactly they were for until now). What other reasons should I get new spark plugs for? Also any additional suggestions on specific spark plug models I should look into getting?

Thanks

I had Randy Webb put on a 15% pulley for me a couple of weeks ago at the Mini Meet West event. I knew going in that I wouldn't need an ECU remap and he made no mention about needing colder plugs with the modification. We were talking a lot about it all and I can't believe he would have neglected to mention it, if it was important.

So far, so good, everything seems just fine

"cooler" or "colder" refers to the heat range of the spark plug vs the stock heat range.

Searching for IK-22 yields:
