If there's a thread for this already, please guide me there...otherwise, I've got an '05 auto S. Yesterday as I acceleratrd onto the highway, the car just shut down. The Engine light and the electronics light both came on and I had to pull over and re-start the car. Things seemed fine except for the engine light which stayed on. On the way home, I got back onto the highway and as soon as I accelerated out of third, the engine cut-off again which forced me to dangerously roll back into the shoulder to re-start the car. I played with the gas cap and the engine light went off today....thus thinking I had solved the mystery until, of course, I got onto the highway after work and the car died again. Please help.
