>>Any word on K&N or a similiar company releasing an air filter for the Cooper S? I haven't found anything.
THE 33-2010 FITS YOU JUST HAVE TO TRIM THE BASE OF IT TO GET IT TO FIT RIGHT. I PUT MINE IN YESTERDAY AND I THINK I FEEL A LITTLE DIFFERENCE. IT FEELS LIKE IT BREATHES A LITTLE BETTER.

GREAT NEWS!!
I actually got a Email today from the head of Tech Services of AMSOIL regarding the Cooper AIR and oil filters. He did say in fact they are working on a 2-stage wetted foam drop in for the MINI right now! What does this mean? 1/2 the cost of K&N, same airflow, but superior filtering. These are washable and the oil lasts for 25,000 miles. It's very tacky so to where when rubbed between the fingers it strings apart when you open your hand.
