So supposedly FedEx is taking 3x normal to deliver the product (not), the parts are not right, and the instructions are missing? WOW

That black RTV is normal. He might've sent you the wrong version. The new ones have carbon fiber gasket plate and the RTV doesn't look so prominant. Don't forget to purchase a new SC gasket from your dealer...cheap $14.

I recieved the AGS, the supercharger intake duct, side the that connects to the supercharger, has a bracket that isnt drilled.

There is also alot of excess black silicone on that end, should i clean that stuff off and drill a hole myself? (see pictures below)

M7 or Randy, can you answer this?

When will the install directions be online?
Peter said it would ship will full install instructions. And the build quality would be "factory-like," that is not what I see with mine, DID I GET A BAD AGS? I have been let down by M7 again.

The plate is not CF on the final version, we use a high temp phenolic resin
that will resist the shock load and temps better then a CF composite.
Also the new plate is water jeted instead of hand machined for better fit
and finish.
The black RTV is a high temperature silicone that will not break down and
loose it's elaticity at higher temperature. And for how it's applied.........
That is excactly how it was intended, it's not showing so I don't understand why it has to be pretty.

The install is actually not as bad as it looks, so don't be intimidated. But I stated earlier, if you dread filling your tires with air or changing the windshield
wipers, this is not for you. With that said it's always good to take the car to a professional when in doubt.

The package did contain a printed page that stated please look for the
install how to, on our web page. An by now you all know how to get a hold of us for questions and answers.

RTV stands for Room Temperature Vulcanizing (it cures at room temperature in contact with air). It's not a product, it's a classification. People often say RTV when they should say Sealer, Silicone, or RTV Silicone, RTV Sealer, etc..

WTF? For $300, you don't get a critical ($14) component? I hope I'm mistaken.

Hi Marty....

If you would look in the box that you receive with the M7 AGS, I can guarantee that you would be blown away by the amount of parts that is
included with the kit......All that for $299.00.

Marty
I like you to look at any of the competing products that sells for
the same amount of money....What do you get.

You're equating taking of the bumper, wedging out a radiator, dremeling pieces of OEM plastic and cutting a radiator hose, et al. to filling tires with air??

While it may not be 'as bad as it looks' the above statement really trivializes the work necessary.

There's difficult and then there is DIFFICULT. The AGS install is not that far in challenging level when you compare them to the really difficult tasks like changing a flywheel/clutch. It's certainly easier than a BBK or pully job. I think that's what he meant:smile:
