overflow tank leak...not the seam and not the cap...
Yesterday after a 35 mile drive thru the 110F heat, I got home and popped the hood to find that fresh coolant had leaked out fo the overflow tank. Nope, it wasn't at the seams. It wasn't from the cap. It appears to be from somewhere underneath and possibly the hose that connects on its underside. I checked to see if the coolant tank was too full, but it appear to be slightly low. The car's just 1100 miles from going out of warranty...is this a simple fix or should I take it in to the dealership for a fix?

I think I remember hearing about this alot on the early model year cars. I have an 03 Cooper and at 48,000 miles last week i noticed that my coolant seemed to be slowly dissapearing. So I took to dealer and they relaced the cap on my radiator I guess it wasnt sealed all the way. Document how much you are having to put in as it will help if you take the car in for service.
