Its still winter here in Chicago, so window use is at a practical zero quantitatively speaking. So it comes as a major surprise to me when I get in the car in the morning, only to find that the windows have seemingly dropped themselves to an "open" position. I would describe them at being slightly below where they would be when the door is open. Its enough to notice in terms of wind noise and there is a substantial sound when closing them to a full "up" position. This has happened on numerous occasions, both windows are equal in their erroneous positions, and I know I haven't been using the windows. It even happened once when I was washing the car with a buddy in his garage and by the time we noticed, there was soap on the inside of the windows.

Anyone else have this happen or know what the problem might be? I wanted to check with you wise ones before bothering my MA.

Try resetting the drop feature by holding the window toggle in the up position for 10 seconds. Hope it helps.

 

I read somewhere that you need to roll the window down,then up and hold for 10 seconds.
