I think I messed up the coding in my r56. I was playing around with my new scan tool and even tho I backed up my coding I changed some things and then thought I could go back and restore it if anything got messed up. Anyways nothing did get messed up. I also at the same time cloned my CAS and replaced it.

Weeks later I noticed my auto wipers don't work. There's codes for light/rain sensor having internal failure but I wonder if the coding I messed with and restored was possibly the cause. Can anyone tell me the coding for rain sensing wipers and auto headlamps and which modules those codes need to be in? Thanks in advance for any help.

 

Doesn't sound like a coding issue. Post the fault codes.

Try this to adjust the sensitivity of the rain sensor:

 

If it's not a coding option then it's a sensor or bracket issue. I might try and get a replacement and see how it goes.
