If these questions have been answered before can someone link the thread?

Need to replace thermostat on 2007 r56 n12 Mini Cooper (leaking badly). Looking to buy OEM replacement. Does this model require the temp sensor adapter or no? My understanding is that it does not but I want to be sure before ordering. I've attached a photo of the connector used in my Mini.

For those Canadian Mini owners out there, where did you buy the OEM thermostat housing and how much did you spend? Seeing very few options available online without paying to have it shipped from US.

How crucial is it to change crossover pipe at the same time? And is it worth the added time and expense if it's not currently leaking?

I got mine from ECS, hardest part of the job was the little spring clip that's in the tunnel of the intake manifold.
Mine's a 2010 base R57 auto & didn't require any adapters.

ECS Tuning should be able to tell you whether you need the wire harness adapter.
