Grille removal (stuck in radiator support)

Hello!
I recently purchased an R56 and I am going through and fixing and replacing everything and its the fog lights turn. The issue I am having is that the upper grille is installed wrong. I'm assuming one of the previous owners lost the clips so they secured it under the radiator support to help hold it on. My question is are there any concerns with just removing the top radiator support so that I can fix this issue? Seems pretty straight forward and the only things I see attached are the hood release and hold but I could be completely messing up the alignment of stuff or something else I haven't noticed yet.
Thanks!

Someone installed it wrong. Suppose to go in front. You have to remove that U brace.

If you remove the lower part of the grille, you might be able to wiggle it out but it might flex the grille too much and snap. Be careful.

Here are those fasteners

My initial thought was the same - maybe try to detach the lower part first and see if you can slide out the top after.
But then I remembered that in order to detach bottom of the grill I had to detach top first, so I could reach bottom clips from behind the grill.
Maybe there is a better and easier way to unclip those, but that's what I ended up doing as far as I remember.

I don't think you'll have any issue loosening the upper support enough to get that out from under it
