CAS permanent fix ???

2008 S, 6sp manual, no sunroof. CAS needs repair/ replace- short crank no start, brake lights on after key removal, chattering foot module relays. I’ve had the FRM out and apart - no water damage or signs of corrosion. CAS removed no signs of damage. Previous owner - burned up clutch let it set for six months, let AGM battery go dead. I bought the car, it ran, installed new clutch and water pump, brought AGM back to life. A few weeks later CAS issues started.
Has anyone come up with a solution to stop CAS module sun/ heat damage? How about extending the CAS wire harness and moving it? Or using a fan and temp sensor to cool it down when hot? Dyna-Mat or foil back insulation? Anyone out there repairing CAS not just cloning. Has anyone had the same trouble again after replacing or repairing it?
