2004 Mini S left on Run… won’t start
Hello, first post!
I just picked up a 2004 Cooper S, with some pretty good upgrades. I am totally new to minis, but got such a great deal I could t pass this up. Hadn’t run in a year, put a new battery and it fired right up and ran great. Added some marvel mystery oil, and fill up with premium.
Ripped around for a while, ran great, but while cleaning up the inside I accidentally left it in run for about 15 minutes with the engine off.
i know the fuel pump wasnt running so I replaced it. I can hear it prime, but it still won’t fire.
Going to test for spark tomorrow and I read I can test for fuel pressure by pressing the relief at the rail under the supercharger , but anything else I could have fried doing this?
