I just replaced the turbo oil lines and the filter housing gaskets trying to track down my front end oil leak. That didn't do anything. Still have a pretty good leak that seems to be coming from above the filter housing, near the turbo, circled in red in the first photo. Anyone have any guesses before I go wasting more time in there?

Oh, and what is the round silver can hanging off the left front of the engine, under the intake hose? That's my next guess.

 

There's a rubber gasket around the vacuum pump..... did you actually change both sets of gaskets on the oil cooler housing.....

 

I did both sets, tore it apart again a couple weeks later because I thought I did something wrong, but it's definitely leaking from above that area.

 

There's a total of 3x rubber orings that fits on this pump.......very easy to change and just a couple dollars........
