Hi: Doing a rear brake job on my 2004 R53. I have the special tool that both rotates and compresses the caliper piston. Have fully compressed but can not now reverse the direction of rotation so that I can remove the tool. Help!! I haven't done this in several years and must have forgotten how.

 

Problem solved. I was turning the inner threaded shaft when I should have been turning the knurled outer shaft. Stupid me!
