MCS R56 not sleeping (CCID 415)

Hi, there. I happen to experience CCID 415 (service logo, clock, trip reset) when ever I left my OBD2 gauge stays connected to the obd2 socket. Is this normal? the OBD2 gauge well to my knowlegde should be there without frequent plug and unplug from the obd2 socket.
