Well we purchased our Mini end of last summer with 165,000kms. Over the winter I did some maintenance work on it including the following:
Timing Chain, Chain tensioner, Supercharger Service( Oil, Water-pump, Gaskets) Valve Cover gasket. 17% Super Charger Pulley, Belt Tensioner.
The car ran well for a month. Now that it has warmed up I am getting the above codes. So far changed out the following as they were service items anyway. Spark Plugs, Plug Wires, Spark Coil and just tonight the PCV valve. I have noticed that even with the new PCV valve installed I am still getting enough pressure out of the oil fill cap to inflate a work glove. Is this normal? I am debating taking the car into a local mini shop but want to exhaust all of my options before I do.
update: did a compression test tonight and all of my cylinders are testing within 10% so that puts my mind at ease a little.
thank you
