Ccid029 and p1338

Diag was done at mini yesterday for an yellow half engine light, rough start, and decreased acceleration. Had previously changed camshaft sensors with no change. Attached is what mini said. Was told 1 sensor was not registering at all 1 was barely. Figured defective sensors so replaced for Bosch ones. Cleared codes and ran great the rest of the day. Next day within 5-10 mins light back on and same issues. Scanned again at an autozone and it's p1338 for the cam position sensors and on my dash says ccid 029 like before. No ideas on what to do at this point. Mini said it's just the sensors causing the issue

having the same issue with my R56 some input would be great.

Exhaust started sounding like a v8 and the light came on.

I was able to fix P1338 by "reset variable camshaft timing adaptation".
