Clutch Pedal Vibrating when pressed
Clutch Pedal Vibrating when pressed
I have a 2013 R56 with 110k miles and the clutch has never been replaced. I always rev match and stay easy on the clutch. But today I noticed when I press the clutch in, the pedal vibrates a decent amount and I can also hear a sound like something is rubbing. The clutch doesnt slip when I apply power, but the pedal vibrates when its pressed all the way down. Could it be the throwout bearing or do I need a new clutch soon? Thanks for any help
My guess would be release lever is bent, which seems to be common on these transmissions. Mine bent and was rubbing in the bellhousing, and if I pressed hard enough, would contact the pressure plate and make a god-awful racket.
Based on your signature modifications, I would suggest a Clutchmaster kit: FX100 with a steel flywheel if the car is your daily driver.
