code p0107 *changed the map sensor* still not working
hi guys this freaking car is bothering me for four months now but i still cant diagnose it. Car is hesitant on higher speed and rpms. I have an r53 with a p0107 code which tells me its about the map sensor. I changed it with a brand new oem sensor but still wont work. Went to my mechanic and they couldnt diagnose the issue and told me i might need a walnut blasting. I didnt even know r53 doesnt need a walnut blast.
I tried seafoaming it and it worked for 4 days then the issue came back. Limping, hesitating to accelerate, stalling on high rpms. Anyone has ideas on what to do? I love the car but its just a moneypit at this point

Which map sensor did you replace? The one on the front of the engine, or the drivers side? The T-map @ssoliman mentioned is the one on the front of the engine.
I recommend that you download and install ISTA+. It's BMW's diagnostic software. You'll have to search around some BMW forums to find a download. I tried INPA, but found the ISTA+ much more user friendly and has better diagnostics.
You can connect a laptop to your car using a cable like this:
You just need to make sure the switches are in the correct position.
